Journey Description
8 Days Cruise- From Antiquity To Byzantium - Mycenae, Delphi, Olympia, Ancient Epidaurus
An archaeology and history-themed cruise with an expert guest lecturer. Embark on a voyage through history, focusing on the Golden Age of Greek civilization and beyond, featuring guest lecturer Eugenia Alexiou. With a Master’s degree in Byzantine Art, Eugenia is an expert historian and a graduate of the Athens Tour Guide Academy, making her the ideal guide through all the classical sites and landmarks we will visit. This journey through the lesser-known locales of the Peloponnese peninsula is a masterclass in classical antiquity, the Roman conquest, and the transition to the Byzantine Christian empire.
